About Reza Khodaverdian

Reza Khodaverdian, M.D., has been working as a vascular specialist for over 30 years. His career started at Tehran University in Iran, where he received his degree and training in general surgery. He continued his education at Shahid Beheshti University in cardiovascular surgery. When he moved to the U.S, he was required to redo most of his training to practice medicine. He completed a general surgery internship at the University of Connecticut followed by a cardiothoracic surgery residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He went on to do a clinical Research Fellowship at the Utah Artificial Heart Program. Dr. Khodaverdian’s has served as an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Minnesota and later as a clinical assistant professor of surgery at Stanford University. Dr. Khodaverdian is board certified in Thoracic Surgery and is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the Cardiothoracic Surgery
