Mission

According to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), more than eight million people over the age of 40 have peripheral artery disease (PAD) in the U.S. Left undiagnosed, PAD can become a life-threatening health condition increasing your risk of heart attack, stroke, and amputation. People with moderate to severe PAD often experience painful symptoms that negatively impact their quality of life.

At USA Vascular Centers, we understand the crucial need for outpatient treatment centers for PAD. Our main focus is to help as many people as possible get a proper diagnosis as well as find non-surgical treatment that can drastically improve their mobility and independence. Living with PAD can be detrimental to your mental and physical health, preventing you from doing everyday tasks like walking the dog or climbing a flight of stairs.

In recent studies, it has been found that an estimated 4 in 10 people with PAD don’t exhibit symptoms or know they have this vascular disease. In fact, many people mistake the symptoms of PAD for normal signs of aging. Lack of awareness about this common arterial condition as well as lack of education about non-surgical options contribute to people enduring symptoms and avoiding treatment. At USA Vascular Centers, our mission is to educate the public about peripheral artery disease, help people live a healthy life without PAD symptoms, and find non-surgical treatment within their community.

Raising Awareness

Due to the fact that coronary artery disease, also known as heart disease, is the leading cause of death in the U.S., it may overshadow other vascular conditions like PAD. In a recent study, 1 in 4 people knew that PAD can lead to heart attack and stroke. Additionally, only 14% of people in the study were aware that PAD could lead to gangrene and amputation. Therefore, there are significant gaps when it comes to raising awareness about peripheral artery disease.

At USA Vascular Centers, our mission is to provide education and resources about PAD as well as help people realize their individual risk factors. We are focused on helping people get a clear diagnosis that can help determine how severe their condition is and their next steps towards treatment. We are passionate about raising awareness for people over the age of 50 who have PAD risk factors to get tested.

Our centers provide a free, no-obligation consultation to educate about non-surgical, outpatient vascular treatment. We want patients to know they can come to us as a helpful resource to better understand their condition. Ultimately, we want them to know that living a life without painful symptoms or limited mobility is possible with treatment.

Improving Quality of Life

We understand how frustrating and disheartening living with PAD can be. Limited mobility, loss of independence, and painful symptoms can negatively impact your daily activities. Peripheral artery disease is a progressive condition; therefore, without treatment, symptoms will only worsen with time. Thankfully, non-surgical treatments performed at our vascular centers can help people with PAD avoid serious health risks and live a more active life.

At USA Vascular Centers, we’ve had patients who have come into our facilities in a wheelchair and have been able to walk after a few days following recovery. Our mission is to get patients moving and living life to their fullest without ever going under the knife. Our minimally invasive  treatments open narrowed arteries to allow for more blood flow to the lower extremities. After non-surgical, outpatient treatment at USA Vascular Centers, patients can count on a lowered risk of heart attack, stroke, and amputation. Our team of experienced specialists are motivated because they are able to see patients improve more and more after every follow-up appointment.

Vision

Our vision is to be the leader in non-surgical, outpatient vascular treatment for peripheral artery disease. With centers across the nation, USA Vascular Centers provide patients with convenient access to innovative treatment options as well as experienced vascular specialists. Our state-of-the-art treatment facilities offer the most advanced treatments that help patients live healthier, more active lives, while avoiding expensive hospital stays, long recoveries, and surgical risks.

Innovative Treatment Options

Our vision starts at providing innovative, non-surgical treatment options for people suffering from peripheral artery disease. Interventional radiology (IR) is one of the most evolving specialties in the medical industry. Therefore, it requires vascular specialists and treatments to be up-to-date with the newest information and studies. Interventional radiology involves using image-guided tools to diagnose and treat conditions like PAD.

At USA Vascular Centers, we pride ourselves in having the advanced tools and technologies to treat PAD and its associated symptoms. We use angiograms as well as ankle-brachial index (ABI) tests to locate the blockage within the patients’ body. Then, live ultrasound and x-ray technology helps us navigate the body’s natural pathways to treat the narrowed artery with either atherectomy or stent angioplasty. Utilizing minimally invasive techniques, allows our patients to avoid stitches, general anesthesia, and major surgical risks. We believe that innovative, non-surgical, outpatient PAD treatments are the best way to treat blocked arteries without putting stress on the patients’ body.

Recruiting Experienced Specialists

At USA Vascular Centers, our vision includes recruiting only the most passionate, experienced vascular specialists. Our accomplished interventional radiologists and vascular physicians are highly trained in treating PAD through non-surgical techniques. We are motivated and dedicated  to helping as many patients as possible live healthier, more active lives after treatment.

Our organization is committed to recruiting individuals who understand the “patient-centric” care we are known for. Administering empathetic care starts by listening to the patients’ concerns, questions, and symptoms throughout the entire treatment process from initial consultation to after recovery. Our vascular specialists are knowledgeable in every aspect of vascular disease and provide a comprehensive diagnosis. Physicians at USA Vascular Centers live and work in the communities they serve, which makes them uniquely attuned to the needs of their patients. Our vision for the future is to grow our organization so we can help more patients reduce their risk of serious health issues associated with PAD.

Commitment

We are committed to the communities in which we serve. We are committed to the people, associations and organizations that make up our surrounding communities where our centers are located. By bringing state-of-the-art care, ultramodern facilities, and experienced physicians who provide quality care, we can support our patients’ unique needs.

At USA Vascular Centers, we are proud to provide health education and PAD awareness to help people better understand vascular disease. Our focus is to help our patients make the best choices about available treatment options for peripheral artery disease and improve the overall quality of their life. We do so by providing empathetic care throughout all of our treatment facilities across the nation.

Providing Empathetic Care

Our commitment lies with providing patients the empathetic care they deserve. This means listening to their concerns, taking the time to answer their questions, making sure their needs are met, and educating them so they can make informed  healthcare decisions. Our vascular specialists are passionate about their work and helping people live without painful, limiting PAD symptoms.

We provide our physicians and staff with comprehensive training on best practices when it comes to empathetic communication. This is crucial because we understand that when a patient arrives at our vascular centers, the patient’s pain and symptoms may cause emotions such as stress, fear, or apprehension. Ultimately, we know our patients want to know they are receiving the very best care and that they are in good hands the minute they meet with our experienced team members.

Expanding Our Services

Not only have we pledged to provide empathetic care to our patients, but we are committed to expanding our services to those in need. As an outpatient healthcare organization, our concentration lies in making getting diagnosed and treated as convenient as possible.

Many patients tend to avoid seeking help or finding treatment because they see it as a long, expensive, inconvenient process. That’s why we offer free initial consultation, telemedicine appointments, and accessible locations so patients can get in and out with ease. Outpatient centers allow patients to avoid lengthy recoveries and hospital stays, which tend to be more expensive and risky. At USA Vascular Centers, we vow to continue expanding our services so patients can get the care they deserve without undergoing surgery.
